This is an uplifting story about two men in love who are indispensable to a town taking a stand to treated with the respect they deserve. I also appreciated the author giving a realistic portrayal of the body's reaction after having gay sex for the first time. The sex scenes were well-written and the characters well-developed and the story, unlike many other short stories, felt complete with a beginning, a middle and an end. I enjoyed this story and did not give it 5 stars because the author, apparently, doesn't know where the period button is on the keyboard and the lack of it is very distracting.Product details

The Mouse That Felled The Oak edition by Alp Mortal Literature Fiction eBooks Reviews
I really liked this novelette. I thought the author did an excellent job of world building an alternate universe that was at once futuristic and a throw/back to the past. The main characters were likable and the conflict, while simple, was realistically and satisfactorily resolved. A surprisingly sweet M/M erotic romance.
When I first started this short story I was pretty sure it was little more then erotica, albeit eloquently written erotica.
But as the book moved forward the plot revealed itself of one of two town men falling in love and taking a stand for their rights to that love within the village that they live.
While this story is short and the plot is simple, I feel that this author has created a great, stirring, modern, erotic fairy tale.
I recommend this short story to readers of MM Romance Erotica.
